How does Florida's medical cannabis process work?
A physician evaluation and a state identification card are separate parts of the process. See who may qualify, what happens after an evaluation, and where to find Florida's official information.
Common questions before your first visit.
How do I become a new patient?
Complete the secure Arfinn Med intake form. Our office will review your information, verify your qualifying diagnosis, and resolve any eligibility questions before calling to arrange your appointment.
What if I am transferring from another physician?
Transfer patients are new to our practice and complete the same new-patient paperwork. The transfer evaluation is $150; a first-time evaluation for someone new to Florida's program is $225.
How do you check whether I qualify before scheduling?
After you complete the secure intake form, our office reviews your health history and verifies your qualifying diagnosis before scheduling. We also check for potential eligibility concerns, including relevant drug-related legal history, and follow up if records or details are needed.
We schedule your visit only after this review is complete and no known barriers to certification have been identified. Dr. Ryan completes your physician evaluation at the visit, and our team helps with the state-card application. The state handles card approval separately.

Does Atlantic Coast Cannabis MD sell cannabis?
No. This is a physician's office. Patients purchase medical cannabis separately from a state-licensed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center after completing Florida's process.
